As an entirely self-funded school program, we sell advertising spots to local businesses each year. At the start of my junior year, I pitched the idea to my adviser of offering advertising packages, including social media appreciation posts and newscast shoutouts to our sponsors. This has increased our funding and outreach tremendously, and provides businesses a variety of ways to market.
